1998 Carol Austin and her Daughter Barrietta Killbrew purchased Wildwood Plantation with intentions of opening a bed and breakfast.  After restoring and renovating Wildwood in its present condition they both agreed that the house should have a density to be open to the world and not limited it to a few.
